Mathematical Competitions in Bulgaria

History and System

Mathematical competitions in Bulgaria have been held since 1950, skipping 1958 and 1959. The system didn't change since 1962, when the fourth round of National Olympiad was introduced. An official competition season consists of four rounds of the national olympiad and Winter and Spring competition. Third and fourth rounds are usually held in April and May, respectively.
